A digital product is a product that has been attached with at least a file, an external link or a license key.
From the "Products" page, you can click "Add digital product" to start creating a new attachment to your products.
Another way to create a new attachment is to go to "Non-digital" section > Click +Attach digital under the product title.
Select product
Pick a product from your list of existing products that you want to attach a digital file. In case you don't have any products, start with creating a new product in your Shopify Admin.
Add a digital file
There are 3 ways to add a digital file:
Upload new file: Select a new file from your device to upload (the file name cannot be changed after uploading)
Attach external link: Add a url with a custom name (the file name is not allowed to duplicate)
Attach file exist: Choose a file that has been uploaded to the app. You can quickly sort by switching to panels that show files which are already linked (product linked), or are not linked to any product (non-product linked).

License key
A license key is a unique code that provides customers with authorized access to a digital product, typically software or applications. It is not necessary to attach digital content if the digital product itself is a license key.
When ticking the box "This is license key", a panel will pop up, which shows 4 ways to set up a key.
Use randomly generated license keys: The app generates a new random code when a new order is placed.
Use untagged license keys: Use a random key which is not tagged in your list of license keys.
Use tagged license keys: Input a tag name that you have set up to group your license keys. One available license key of that group will be used for each new order.
Manually: License keys will not be provided to new orders until you send a separated email with the key attached.
Advanced setting
Limit download in time: The file can only be downloaded during a specific time limit (hours, days, weeks, months).
Limit download per order: The file can only be downloaded a limited number of times for each order.
How to download files: Choose either to download one file or all files at one time.
Notify previous customers when files/links are updated: Choose either to send an email or not.
Live Preview
The preview of the download email and the thank you page (displayed after payment) will be shown on the right of the page. You should check the preview before officially creating the product to make sure it is displayed correctly on customers' side.
After you have done configured, make sure to hit "Save" before exit.
One short way to migrate data from other app or system without having to create digital products one by one is to import products in bulk.
Upload files
Go to Files page, click "Upload files" and select all the files you need to attach to your products.
Prepare CSV template
Click the link in the 'Import Product Attachment' page to download the template.
In the CSV file, input the information following the template.
In the first column for product identifier field, please type in either of the 3 followings: Shopify Product ID, SKU, or Product Title. Make sure this type of information is consistent for every product.
Upload CSV file
Upload the file you have just prepared.
In the Product identifer field selection, choose the correct type of identifier of your file.
Uploaded CSV files are displayed in the History section, in which you can see the date created, CSV file name, status and how many products are added with success/error.
